Designer Profile

Australian born, Scott King graduated with a Bachelor of Design Degree from the University of Technology, Sydney, in 1992.

After graduation Scott worked for Louis Poulsen Lightmakers and in 1995 he joined Electrolux working with all categories within the whitegoods division.

In 2003 Scott relocated to the Electrolux European Design Studio in Pordonone, Italy, to gain further insight into the Electrolux European Organisation.

Scott King currently manages the day to day activities of the Sydney Design studio located in Mascot, Sydney, in addition to managing the Food Preparation and Dishcare categories in the Asia Pacific region. More recently, he was part of the team that designed the 2008 Electrolux Refrigeration Range which won a sustainability award at the Australian International Design Awards.
